WWE now faces the task of transforming the cordial first meeting between Nia Jax and Rousey into a compelling storyline over the next few weeks - and many fans on Twitter are questioning why Rousey is wrestling for a title so soon.

It seems that fighting Nia Jax for the women's WWE title isn't the only thing that Ronda Rousey may have on her mind.

"I'm over the moon about it. I really wasn't expecting it, especially not this soon", Rousey expressed to TMZ.

The match will be only Rousey's second for the company, following her debut appearance at WrestleMania, where she teamed with Kurt Angle to beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. She also said that she thinks she will come out the victor, but regardless, the WWE universe should be entertained with the event.

Ronda Rousey is ready to take on motherhood.

"Soon, some day. Some day soon but I don't know yet", Rousey said when asked by TMZ.

WWE announced Monday at the NBCUniversal Upfront that Rousey will face WWE Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on June 17th in Chicago.

You can see a video of Rousey gaining a hot tag above (courtesy of our friends at PWU), where she lands a series of strikes and judo throws, before going at both Mickie James and Ruby Riott in the corner.

When it is time for Rousey to have kids, it will surely grab headlines.
