National Football League star Jay Ajayi shoved the owner of a fancy L.A. mansion who charged the Eagles running back $25k in damages for trashing the place. this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.
Ajayi allegedly ignored that request and threw three of them.
And now he's facing a $25,000 lawsuit that he claims is bogus, the gossip site reported.
According to a summary of the lawsuit from TMZ Sports, Ajayi stayed at the house after the Eagles won the Super Bowl and threw multiple parties despite being told not to by the owner.
Ajayi reportedly told TMZ that he never laid a finger on the property owner, never damaged the property and never hosted a party there.
"But when the owner confronted Jay on February 18, he claims Ajayi 'pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threatening manner, '" according to TMZ. The property owner said he had to call security to have Ajayi escorted from the premises.
Ajayi denied the accusations through a representative, saying Ajayi and his group actually left the house earlier than the planned five days, but still paid the full price for the rental.
The 24-year-old Ajayi was acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Dolphins around mid-season last year, and joined the Eagles with rumblings of "locker room chemistry issues" leading to his departure from Miami. In fact, the rep says it was the owner of the mansion who acted inappropriately by asking Ajayi to circumvent AirBnB by paying in cash.
