Madrid meet Villarreal on Saturday in their final La Liga match of the season, before their campaign concludes with the Champions League final against Liverpool in Kiev on May 26.

Following the game Salah collected the golden boot and was quizzed as to whether he believed himself to be at the same level as world superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marcelo told reporters: "The best come to Madrid and I would love to play with Neymar".

"I am trying to improve every year so I am very happy. The more trophies I've won at the end of the season, the better, and obviously with the national team, which is something I still don't have".

However, the 30 year-old does not think he has to move to another league before retiring in order to prove any doubters wrong. "You look at other leagues, but at the moment of deciding, it's very hard to leave Barcelona".

They later took part in team practice along with the rest of Zinedine Zidane's squad.

Madrid also survived scares in the Champions League knockouts against Juventus and Bayern Munich to reach another final, but Messi says its determination to battle through such ties should be commended. "We have to be far superior against them to win".

Mohamed Salah has recently won the Premier League Player of the Season award as well as the Golden Boot after scoring 32 goals in 36 league games. Definitely, they are great players'. It will be a huge test for everyone and hopefully, we come out on top.

Neymar collected an award in Paris on Sunday for being the Best Ligue 1 Player, having scored 19 goals and laid on 13 assists, and he has reportedly already met with new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel to discuss his future.
