The news of the new Burst Assault Rifle hasn't been publicized through Fortnite's various social media accounts, but those who have been playing Fortnite recently spotted the new weapon included in the "New Updates" section when you log in. Sometimes, weapons are added with none taken out, which may be the case with the Burst Assault Rifle, owing to the fact that the Season 4 update vaulted the crossbows without adding in any new weapons. We'll find out more once the update officially hits tomorrow morning. This Fortnite 4.2 delay means that the patch will no longer launch today, which had been Epic's original plan.
There are various ways that you could probably work around the Fortnite replay challenge, maybe by joining in a game and either immediately quitting out or doing your best to get killed quickly, but hopefully Epic will be able to fix this problem soon. Fresh from his all conquering box-office performance in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet have been introduced as a limited time game mode in Fortnite.
Originally kicked off on May 8th, the "Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup" has given Fortnite players the chance to play as Thanos, the villain of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War. Recent updates have also seen some of the weapons taken some of the weapons previously introduced out of the game. No skins were introduced with this event which was a disappointment but the door isn't shut forever.
The new assault rifle variations seem to have showed up on Fortnite Tracker some time ago, with damage ratings and all the other stats you could want shown for both epic and legendary versions. It's hard to believe anyone actually predicted this event but it was certainly a pleasant surprise.
