Each team has an overall number of combinations that fits that four digit long number. There are 1,000 combinations that are used and the combination of 11-12-13-14 is not used, so if it is drawn for one of the picks, they draw again to determine which team gets that pick. Will any team make an unexpected jump into the top three?
Boston still will have a presence in Chicago for Tuesday's lottery in the off chance of a miracle: Team president Rich Gotham will be in the main stage area, while assistant general manager Mike Zarren will be in the drawing room.

Who will land the No. 1 overall pick? Down 1-0 to the Celtics, they absolutely can not lose Game 2 tonight. It will go to the 76ers it if lands at any other spot - including No. 1. Chance for top-three pick: 2.2 percent.
The Magic haven't won the lottery since turning 2004's No. 1 pick into Dwight Howard.
