Harrison Ford Enjoyed Solo: A Star Wars Story

There are a lot of things propping this movie up, mainly that it is about Han Solo, arguably the most popular character in the entire franchise, but there are also a lot of things dragging it down. The robot isn't in the new movie.

While attending the red carpet premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Kathleen Kennedy spoke with HeyUGuys about the movie and what it was like to work with the Kasdans. Before fans go into a frenzy, the brothers however confirmed that the actor who portrays C-3PO actually makes an appearance in the film.

"No, but Anthony Daniels is in the movie as a different character", Jonathan Kasdan told Uproxx. But even after watching it multiple times, fans can't find C-3PO, that's because Daniels doesn't play the droid. He will play the role of Chewbacca's best friend. Fans can probably spot him in one of the trailers.

In fact, he was in the trailer - but you nearly certainly didn't recognise him, because he was playing a Wookiee.

So while C-3PO won't be in this film, Anthony Daniels can continue his streak of being in every Star Wars movie ever. His experiences on the original trilogy gave him said knowledge, and he then applied it to writing Solo, which was no doubt a great thing for the movie. During the chat, he discussed his first (and only) meeting with Harrison Ford, and the importance of getting the former Han Solo's blessing for the prequel film.

"I just thought it was spectacular, and I thought he was so smart about what he did and how he did it".
