To start off with, the Deviljho is making a return to Monster Hunter by being added in the update.
You'll be able to hunt down the Deviljho and partake in the Spring Fest once the update goes live on March 22 for PS4 and Xbox One. Since this is the first major monster being added to the game we can expect a challenging fight, especially considering how much time players have dedicated to the game since it launched in January. Capcom has now confirmed the monster will come to the game on March 22nd. This bipedal Brute Wyvern will prove to be a big challenge to all players, but in turn they will receive great rewards like the materials to craft the brand new weapons Vangis α and Vangis β, as well as new Deviljho-inspired versions of all the current 14 types of weapons.
The major Monster Hunter World update will also include a "Spring Blossom Fest" event, which will include daily activities and will re-decorate the camp to a more festive atmosphere.
We'll have more details on this limited-timed event pretty soon but make sure you mark your calendars so you don't miss out! The first is for the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of the community Weapon Design Contest.
The March update is also going to introduce plenty of balance changes for most weapon types as well as new features.
Capcom will be giving away one free voucher on March 16 that will let you edit your hunter's gender and physical appearance.
We'll be sharing a more comprehensive list when the title update goes live. One extra detail worth noting is the introduction of Character Edit Vouchers, which will allow you to change your hunter's gender and appearance.
Added "Return to Gathering Hub" (single player) and "Disband & Return to Gathering Hub" (multiplayer) to the options for "Select Return Destination" after a quest has been completed.
