It's Important My Goalkeepers Have Clarity - Arsene Wenger Confirms David Ospina Selection

Wenger's side have reached the last-32 of Europe's second-tier club competition, where they face Ostersunds in the second leg at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday having won 3-0 in the first leg.

David Ospina has been selected over teammate Petr Cech in each stage of the cup competition so far this season, and Wenger said that he will not change his mind for the clash against Manchester City at Wembley. Since Monday, he was in bed.

Ozil and Ramsey were involved in first team training on Wednesday but Wenger said the German playmaker had struggled with illness this week. He's a top player, I love watching him play.

Yet Wenger rejected talk of focusing on the Europa League, describing it as "one of the priorities" rather than their main target.

Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal's preferred route into the Champions League remains a top-four Premier League finish.

Wenger said he was impressed by Ostersunds' Iran global forward Saman Ghoddos during the first leg.

History tells us two things: The League Cup has always been a tournament of choice for City, right from the early 1970s, when West Brom were beaten on a cabbage-patch pitch to start the decade.

"He is a fantastic player, technically and tactically".

The Gunners are all but assured of safe passage into Friday's draw as they welcome a team who were in the fourth tier of Swedish football when Graham Potter took over in 2011.

"Do I want him on the team?"

"You can never say", he said of his side's prospects.

Despite the comfortable scoreline and a slow start, Ostersunds impressed the Arsenal boss with their fearless philosophy on the ball last time out, and whilst praising them again ahead of the second fixture, he also singled out one player.

Danny Welbeck and Henrik Mkhitaryan will both play some part in the match, however, Aaron Ramsey remains on the sidelines due to a groin injury.

"I'm very happy to be here and it's a dream come true".

"After 27 years of working hard to try to lift this kind of thing, hopefully I can do it then".
