Sylvester Stallone & Brother Shoot Down Death Hoax: 'Ignore The Stupidity'

Sylvester indeed looks ill in this picture which sparked a lot of hoaxes about his health and death.

Several posts on social media seemingly indicated Stallone died following a battle with prostate cancer, according to Metro.

Over the extended weekend, the social media was flooded with RIP messages and fans asking, "Is Sylvester Stallone dead?"

Others on Twitter felt similarly about the false posting, though some believed it at first.

The internet is flooded with rumours that Sylvester Stallone is no more.

SYLVESTER STALLONE has put the freaky rumour he is dead to bed as he tweeted declaring he is "still punching" this evening.

Monday saw several fake websites claiming that the 71-year-old actor succumbed to prostate cancer, spreading panic among fans. The images from the above post come from Stallone's role in the upcoming Creed II movie. When he was filming Rocky IV, he told his on-screen opponent Dolph Lundgren: "Punch me as hard as you can in the chest".

His younger brother, musician Frank Stallone, had far harsher words for whoever started the hoax. "Alive and well and happy and healthy.Still punching!"

'Rumors that my brother is dead are false.

"Please ignore this stupidity. People like this are mentally deranged and don't deserve a place in society", he wrote.

One Twitter user asked, "Sylvester Stallone died??? Silvester Stallone is NOT dead", declared another user. Overall, this is really sick because it really made fans shocked and so many of them felt emotional about it. It was not settled until he uploaded a photo of himself with Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev on Instagram.
