Union minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, MP and filmstar Hema Malini, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu would be star campaigners for the party in Tripura, the BJP general secretary said.
Without naming Rahul Gandhi, he alleged that the Congress chief had put up candidates as "vote-katva" (cutting into others' votes) to help the CPI (M) government headed by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to come back to power.
"We want to change politics of violence in Tripura to politics of development. The BJP led government if set up in Tripura, state and centre will work in coordinated way to devolution of more fund and end up regional disparity, so the state could prosper", Jaitley attributed.
Targeting the demand of Twipraland, Communist party politburo member also said that the IPFT has killed many people in the state demanding a separate state for the people, but they have failed in all their attempts as the state government has accepted their demand of diving the state to create another land for the same people. It has gone into pockets of Communist cadres.
"I request the CM to counter these reports when he addresses election rally tomorrow (Monday)". He also accused Left Government of increasing poverty in its last 25 years of rule and the number of unemployed youths rose to 7.33 lakh from 25,000 during the period.
Raising the party's slogan, "Chalo Paltai" (Let's change the government), Shah sought the Left's ouster from the state. It also promises to hand over murder cases of journalists Shantanu Bhowmik and Sudip Datta Bhowmik to the CBI if it comes to power.
On Sunday, the National President of the BJP held two road shows in the state followed by three election rallies.
Shah said he visited the state 18 times till now and were aware of the people's woes and problems.
