The Asus launches a flurry of smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018. The ZenFone 5 series is getting introduced at the MWC 2018 and thus the leaks of this phone, one of them in the series, is right on time. Earlier we told you about the leaked renders of the Asus Zenfone 5 and now we have a press image of the Zenfone 5 Lite thanks to the famous tipster Evan Blass. A new leak coming from Chinese media says that the new Zenfone 5 lineup consists of the standard Zenfone 5, flagship Zenfone 5z and an entry-level Max variant called Zenfone Max Pro (M1).

On the rear, the ASUS Zenfone 5 continues its imitation of the iPhone X with the design of the dual rear cameras.

The smartphone will flaunt an 18:9 display on the front, but the screen size remains unknown at the moment. It will come with a vertical dual camera setup at the back in the middle. According to Evleaks, the phone is said to have four cameras, two on the front and two on the rear.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 has a metal frame that lies between two sheets of glass. All we can make out is that the phone will feature a glass back panel, a vertically arranged dual rear camera setup with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor below it and what looks like a single LED flash next to the camera setup.

All the new Zenfone 5 smartphones are expected to come with 18:9 display with minimal bezels, followed by a comparatively large chin. The frame looks to be metal and the oval shape of the port nearly certainly indicates Type-C. This could be the base Asus Zenfone 5 model. More details in our report.

Asus is all set to release the latest smartphone series from the company which includes all the flagship, mid-range as well as budget segment smartphones from the company named as the Zenfone series.
