According to officers attached to this country's Child Protection Unit, the man identified as Germaine Moore, 44, is now being held at Elmore County Jail after surrendering at 2.30am.
Police began asking for the public's assistance after attempting to serve a warrant at Moore's home on Monday afternoon. At 6 p.m., his wife was taken into custody and possible charges are pending.
An Alabama man is behind bars after a viral child pornography video he's reportedly connected with resulted in Federal Bureau of Investigation involvement and a nationwide search for him.
The video could also have viruses attached to it.
Investigators said it's impossible to tell where the man and girl were when the video was taken.
Now task forces across the country that are focused on internet crimes against children are working to find the suspect, the victim, and where the crime started.
On Monday evening, police charged Jerrell Washington, 42, in connection with the distribution of the video.

He turned himself into the Elmore County Detention Facility without incident early Tuesday morning.
"Anything you see on social media, you have to realize that this is a real person. The social media platform it's on has likely reported it, and we will have to decide on where we will go from there on the people who have posted", Houston said. "We urge people never to share such content and to report it to local authorities immediately", a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.

Houston also said anyone who has had contact with Moore, or whose children have come into contact with Moore, should reach out to authorities. The videos were mostly shared directly through Facebook's private messenger.
