WWE Issues Statement In Response To Jey Uso's Arrest


Despite his weekend arrest, Uso appeared with his brother and tag team partner on Tuesday night's SmackDown Live broadcast.

Uso was freed later on Sunday on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

SmackDown star Jey Uso was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, Uso's vehicle was pulled over at approximately 1am, when the officer in question observed signs of intoxication.

Uso reportedly failed a field sobriety test and was charged with DUI and taken into custody.

Jey Uso, one-half of multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, has been with the company since 2009. Jey Uso was arrested for what the County of Hidalgo, TX, website lisst as "Driving While Intoxicated 1st". There isn't much information about it out there, and it's unclear if the incident will affect the Usos' upcoming title defense against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin at the Royal Rumble.
