OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition launched in India, sale starts on…

Already there were rumors that Lava Red color variant OnePlus 5T will launch in India on January 26. The Lava Red Special Edition has the same black finish on the front just like the Midnight Black edition. Another explanation is that it's paving the path for the launch of the identical-looking Sandstone White model. The OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant will be priced at Rs 37,999 and will be up for grabs starting tomorrow.

The features and specifications remain the same as the original midnight black launched in November 2017.

The new phone Oneplus 5T Lava Red Special Edition comes with a price of Rs.37,999 which is less than the price of Oneplus 5T smartphone Star Wars Edition. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. It sports a 6.01-inch full-HD + (1080x2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 internals are identical as far as processing power is concerned.

OnePlus 5T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, clocked at up to 2.45GHz. The device will be a direct rival of the OnePlus 5T and comes with a few features that are usually found on Samsung's flagships. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the phone and is a ceramic made one. With this new Lava Red version OnePlus looks to add zing to its product.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 5T bears a dual camera setup on the rear that has a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor.

Even though the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition is pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the company will push open beta for Android Oreo within the next few days. The handset also supports a Dash Charge (5V, 4A) fast charging feature brought by the company.
