Mark Wahlberg donates $1.5M to Time's Up

During the re-shoot, actor Mark Wahlberg negotiated to receive a fee of US$1.5 million, while his co-star received less than US$1000 for 10 days of work.

"It's crucial that this conversation continues within our community and we are committed to being part of the solution", the company's statement continued.

William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, the talent agency that represents both Wahlberg and Williams, also announced it would be making a $500,000 donation to the fund, again in Williams' name.

"Over the last few days, my reshoot fee forAll the Money in the World has become an important topic of conversation", Wahlberg saidin a statement obtained by the Los Angeles Times.


As a result of Rapp's allegations and others, director Ridley Scott made a decision to reshoot scenes from "All the Money in the World" that included Spacey. Williams was not told about the pay differences, USAToday reported.

Williams and Plummer were Golden Globes nominees for their performances.

As host of the Critics Choice Awards, Olivia Munn likewise took a comedic poke at Wahlberg while in front of an audience with Niecy Nash. Wahlberg said he "100 percent" supports the right for fair pay in Hollywood. Per that report, Wahlberg was then approached and also agreed to do the reshoots. And they could have my salary, they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted.

"I think we need to be more conscious when we make deals, to be strong and stay united... where we have a coherent plan of us women, what we need to do to make this happen".

Director Ridley Scott decided that scenes featuring the disgraced actor would be re-shot with veteran star Christopher Plummer.
