Chosen by a poll of national college basketball experts, the list is comprised of 25 student-athletes who are front-runners for one of college basketball's most prestigious individual honors, based on their performances during the first half of the 2017-18 season. Bridges' honors include Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year, and preseason National Player of the Year by ESPN, NBC Sports, CBS Sports and Sports Illustrated.

But it's been more than a decade since a Blue Devils player won the John Wooden Award - the last one being J.J. Redick in 2005-06. The Wooden Award All-American Team will be announced the week of the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament. The victor of the John R. Wooden Award will be announced in early April during the ESPN College Basketball Awards Show.
