Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois will sign new deals at Stamford Bridge

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months, but the man himself has responded to rumours with the answer every Chelsea fan wanted to hear.

Hazard has been a vital addition to the blues ever since his transfer from LOSC Lille and played a pivotal role in Chelsea's title wins in the previous three years.

The Italian coach has been calling for the club to conclude talks with Hazard and Courtois and they seem to have made a breakthrough with both players now confirming that they will sign new deals to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the current campaign. "I think Thibaut first".

The Belgian forward's claims put to bed rumours of him leaving the Premier League champions for Real Madrid - something he admitted past year was a possibility.

Hazard has flirted with the idea of joining Real, often heaping praise on manager Zinedine Zidane, but has now finally confirmed he will put pen to paper on a contract extension at Chelsea.

Spanish publication AS carries the same claim: that Hazard's "close circle" has been contacted by Real with regards to a potential move. That's the aim, as long as the club keep doing that then, yeah, I'm happy here'.

Hazard's father, Thierry, revealed in December that his son had rejected a new contract offer from the Blues, with one offer reported to be worth €17.6million (£15.5million). Every year, things were said about me but I stayed.

Representative of the Belgian are said to have met Real Madrid chiefs in Montecarlo a few days ago with the two parties who have managed to reach an economic agreement ahead of a possible summer move.
