2017 saw the most diverse group of toppers in recent years, with two women students and three non-engineers figuring among the 20 candidates who scored a 100 percentile, the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, organising institute for the examination, said on Monday.
It is expected that IIM ( Indian Institute of Managment), Lucknow will declare the result which would be the golden opportunity for all the business and management students who want to study in the prestigious management and IIM institution.
CAT 2017 has witnessed 20 candidates scoring 100 percentile. The score card also features the percentile secured by the candidates. CAT 2017 was held on November 26 in two sessions, wherein about 2.31 lakh students appeared for the common admission test this year. While in CAT 2016 all the top 20 candidates were male and engineers, this year's top 20 candidates list included two female scholars and three non-engineers. No query regarding the issuance of CAT 2017 score card will be entertained by CAT Centre 2017 after December 31, 2018. Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly, added the report.
Based on scores, previous academic performance and work experience, IIMs will now shortlist candidates for a writing test, GD and PI.
