Hogan played in Week 14, but was mostly a non-factor with a shoulder injury.
The New England Patriots will be without receiver Chris Hogan, defensive tackle Alan Branch and linebacker Kyle Van Noy against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was listed on the Patriots' official practice/injury report each day this week as having limited participation, and his game status was questionable.
Hogan played 55-of-61 offensive snaps in the loss to the Dolphins, but had just one catch for one yard and didn't look like he was back to full speed. He joins Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola and Phillip Dorsett as Tom Brady's options in the passing game. He showed little effort with the Cleveland Browns earlier this season, but Britt turning around his season in New England is totally plausible.
Hogan (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Wide receiver Kenny Britt will also make his debut after being signed on Wednesday.
