You can finally order the Google Home Max in the US

A listing in late November suggested that the Home Max would be released on December 11, and that appears to have been fairly accurate.

Strangely enough Best Buy is seemingly the only place where you can buy the Home Max in both colors right now.

You can now purchase Google Home Max in both Chalk or Charcoal colorways, each of which will run you $399.00.

The new Home Max retails for $399 in the U.S. and the device is available from a number of retailers, this includes Best Buy and Verizon Wireless, the device does not appear to be available as yet from the Google Store.

Shipping estimates for Best Buy put it in your hands as early as Wednesday, December 13, but it looks like it won't be in store until the day after - Thursday, December 14.

The Google Home Max went on sale at a few retailers this morning.

Get ready to lay down some cash, however, because the Google Home Max runs $399.99.

In the market for a smart speaker?

"Google Home Max sports dual 4.5" woofers, custom tweeters, and "Smart Sound", that tries to self-tune the speaker depending on your room and where you've placed it. It also has Bluetooth connectivity on board. The Google Store still prompts you to sign up for the waiting list, and other retailers like B&H Photo don't list it in stock yet.
