In the latest trailer, Capcom's iconic character Mega Man makes a special appearance (around the 2:40 mark) and as you might expect, his 8-bit look clashes quite a bit with the more realistic looking settings found in Monster Hunter: World.
"World" beta is now up, but before players embark on their journeys, they may want to take heed of some tips provided by someone very knowledgeable about the game. Simple - he assumes the role of the beloved companions; the Palico.
Obviously, not all players who are in the "Monster Hunter: World" beta are new to the series. But to be fair, it's Mega Man - Capcom doesn't have to explain anything at all.
Additional Notes: Each quest can be done solo or with up to three other players online, and you'll be able to choose from 14 different weapon types based on your preferred playstyle, which you can now change during quests at camp.
For anything else at all to do with Monster Hunter World, including the final release date, as well as all the monsters and weapons we've confirmed so far, head over to our Monster Hunter World guides walkthrough hub.
Monster Hunter: World will be launching globally on January 26, 2018.
Although we don't yet know what they are, you'll unlock an item to use in the full Monster Hunter World game, for every Quest that you complete in the Beta.
