Pizza Hut testing beer delivery in Phoenix

You will be exhausted from a long day at work and starving, but unwilling to put too much thought into your dinner.

The service will debut in Phoenix, Arizona, with customers getting the option to have six-packs of Anheuser-Busch brands brought to their doors, including Budweiser, Bud Light and Shock Top. A spokesman said it would consider testing beer delivery in the future. Pizza Hut delivery will be your savior, but if you are committing to eating unhealthily, you might as well go all the way. Only beer is available now, for $10.99 a six pack.

Want some beer with your pizza? Pizza Hut plans to expand to wine in January and is exploring both single serving and full bottle options.

Owned by Yum! Brand, CNN notes that Pizza Hut is performing worse than the company's other chains, KFC and Taco Bell.

All drivers who deliver the alcoholic beverages will be at least 21 years old and they'll also make sure to check the customer's identification for age as well.

This is part of a larger trend of huge restaurant chains attempting to drive up profits by appealing to adult vices.
