Mega Man 11, Mega Man X collections announced

Mega Man 11 is due in "late" 2018, so it's still a while off.

Capcom announced during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Livestream earlier today that Mega Man 11 will be released for the PC (and other platforms, but that's not really our thing) in late 2018.

Following Capcom's Mega Man 11 announcement during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Celebration, the publisher released the first screenshots of the game showing first screenshots and some concept art.

Other than the fresh look, Mega Man 11 appears to take after its predecessors, with power-ups to collect, bosses to fight and risky levels to traverse. This is the third Legacy Collection released by Capcom, which has already compiled all ten of the original Mega Man games for current-gen consoles.

Mega Man 11 was today confirmed for Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. Are you looking forward to playing more Mega Man?

Mega Man Legacy Collection contains the first Mega Man game through Mega Man 6. He added that he wanted to "create the illusion of 3D space without a 3D environment" so that players would feel the same familiarity with the classic Mega Man gameplay. You can check out a first trailer for the game, below. It's not clear whether the company plans to release them in a compilation, or available à la carte. By the sound of it, though, it's going to be a big year for Mega Man fans.
