Micromax launches Canvas Infinity Pro with 18:9 display at Rs 13999

The Canvass Infinity Pro is aimed at consumers belong to mid-range price segment, the Canvas Infinity Pro will take ahead the bezel-less revolution and will certainly enhance the viewing experience of the consumers and give them a power packed device which is a ideal confluence of exemplary display, superlative dual selfie camera 20 MP+8 MP at an extremely attractive price. The 18:9 aspect ratio display matches the current trend in the smartphone industry. The Infinity Pro now features a slightly larger 3,000 mAh battery pack as compared to the 2,900 mAh unit found on the Canvas Infinity.

We haven't tested the camera yet, but the dual camera setup on the front should pull off some satisfying results if not the best.

While the Canvas Infinity is exclusively sold through Amazon India, the newly launched Canvas Infinity Pro will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting December 6th midnight. "We truly believe that Infinity Pro is that package and our consumers will be delighted with the pricing as well", said Shubhodhip Pal, Chief Operating Officer, Micromax Informatics, in a statement. Features of Micromax - Canvas Infinity Pro is 5.7-inch, Full Vision display having 18:9 aspect ratio, which makes phones longer than wider.


In the display department, the Infinity Pro carries forward the legacy of the bezel-less display as introduced by its younger sibling. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The Canvas Infinity Pro sports a 16MP camera on the rear with LED Flash.

The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Is the phone worth the extra four thousand rupees? The rear camera is made up of a 16-Megapixel sensor with LED flash. The device is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery that claims to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time and 420 hours of standby time on a single charge.

Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG. On the back of the phone, there's a fingerprint scanner with "0.2 sec unlock time and a 360-degree acceptance angle", which we are confident will work as promised. The phone will be available onlyon Flipkart from 6 December.
