Reliance Jio has introduced a new Rs 799 plan for its prepaid and postpaid users.
The open market tariff plans from Bharti Airtel right now are the Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 448, Rs 549, and Rs 799 plans.
Then there is a Rs 999 plan that comes with a validity of 90 days and offers 90GB of data, while the Rs 1999 comes with a validity of 120 days and offers 155GB of 4G data.
Rs 349 plan of Vodafone - which provides 1.5GB per day at 4G/3G data network with a validity of 28 days.It only gives unlimited local and STD calls within India (up to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week). Like all Jio prepaid recharge plans, this pack likewise offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to all services free of cost.
So overall, under the Rs 349 plan - now - Airtel is offering 56GB data per month, unlimited calls and SMS benefits to another network. In this tariff voucher, the company is giving 2GB data to its users per day with the validity of 49 days. All these benefits are applicable to both existing and new Airtel prepaid subscribers. Moving on, the brand has revised the Rs 509 plan and it now offers a validity of 49 days for prepaid customers. Various telecom operators have also started rolling out plans that offer unlimited calls and ample amount of data. Under this plan, the subscribers will also be able to avail the company's "data rollover" offer. If a customer consumes 1 GB of high speed data in a day, he or she will thereafter get data at the speed of 64 Kbps under the Rs. 309 recharge plan. So, both Airtel and Vodafone still have some way to go to catch up with Jio despite successfully attracting customers by offering these benefits. Now after the revision of the plan, Airtel is offering 3GB of data to its users. Jio Rs 459 plan also offers unlimited SMS in addition to access to other premium Jio apps and services. But the more everyone is following Jio's footsteps, the more creative Jio is becoming with its plans.
