Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is an episodic adventure developed by Deck Nine Games for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Now, both Hannah Telle (Max) and Ashly Burch (Chloe) are back to business. Ashley Burch and Hannah Telle are both returning for the bonus fourth episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
Let's be honest, Rhianna DeVries has done an exceptional job of voicing younger Chloe following the voice actors strike which meant that Ashly Burch couldn't reprise her role as the character she helped bring to life.
The videogame voice actor strike that recently concluded led to kind of an unusual situation this summer, when union member Ashly Burch, who provided the voice of Chloe Price in the first series, was replaced with a non-union performer for the prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
Posting news of the announcement on the Life Is Strange Tumblr, Deck Nine praised actor Rhianna DeVries for taking on the motion capture and voice-acting duties for Chloe in Before the Storm. It will also mark the first time Burch and Telle have recorded together since the original Life is unusual. It tells the story of the relationship between Chloe Price and Rachel Amber before Rachel had gone missing in the first game. 'We are forever thankful to Rhianna for the work she has put into Before the Storm and she will continue to work with us for the motion capture of young Chloe in Farewell'.
The bonus episode will be available to Deluxe Edition owners so be sure to check it out.
Life is Strange Before the Storm's final episode, "Hell is Empty" does not now have a release date. "Her best friend is still around and they get to hang out all the time, so I think this is very much a Chloe before we've seen how much the world has kind of shaken her and taken things from her".
