Airtel has announced a brand new combo plan for its prepaid customers which gives away a whopping 300GB of data. Now Vodafone has added more oil to the fire by launching two more prepaid plans priced at Rs 458 and Rs 509.
"The validity of the additional data voucher would be same as that of the base plan". To recharge with the app, open the app, tap on Recharge under the "quick actions" tab and punch in a valid Airtel prepaid number.
In related news, Vodafone recently also launched a new "Chhota Champion" plan for its prepaid users. The Vodafone recharge comes with unlimited all calls and 1GB data per day. Under the Rs 496 plan the telco is offering unlimited local and STD calls and 84GB data for 84 days. The data is 1GB per day on both 4G and 3G connections. For Rs. 1,999, prepaid users get 125GB mobile data along with unlimited voice, roaming and SMS benefits for a period of 180 days. In any case, after the daily confine at fast, the clients will get unlimited internet at 64 kbps. Firstly, they have to look for the recharge option and get the recharge done of Rs 309 or of a higher amount. But similar plans is being also offered by Jio whose Rs 459 plan offers 1 GB data and has better 84 days validity. However, the upto 250 mins/day and/or 1000 mins/week limit stays on calls. The unlimited calling, roaming and SMS benefits extend to this plan just like they do in the previous two plans. These include local, STD and roaming SMSes sent to mobile numbers of all telecom operators, Jio noted. The plan offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 100 SMSes per day as well.
Under the plans, Airtel customers will be able to carry forward up to 200 GB of their unused data to next billing cycle and check its status on MyAirtel app. Users have the daily FUP limit of 1GB.
