Although, a spokesperson for the Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney's office told ET at the time that McGowan's arrest warrant was actually issued on February 1, and had been outstanding since then.

Actress Rose McGowan was arrested today for felony possession of cocaine.

"Ms. McGowan appeared in Loudoun County, Virginia, on November 14, 2017, to accept service of the Airports Authority Police arrest warrant, and she was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond", a spokesperson for the department said.

A warrant for her arrest was obtained after belongings left behind on a flight arriving at nearby Washington Dulles International Airport tested positive for illegal drugs, according to police.

McGowan seemingly tweeted about the warrant last month, writing, "Are they trying to silence me?"

Rose previously speculated her arrest warrant might be in connection with her speaking out about Harvey Weinstein... The former "Charmed" actress says that the producer raped her and then gave her a $100,000 settlement in 1997.

McGowan has claimed that the charges would have been made to go away, had she agreed to remain silent about Weinstein.

Weinstein, 65, has "unequivocally denied" allegations of non-consensual sex.
