CBS' "The Talk" introduced rap star and actress Eve as their new fifth permanent co-host officially on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Hopefully, Eve will feel a similar connection to her co-hosts as she takes Tyler's seat on The Talk. Previously, Cooper, who goes by Eve, appeared on the show as a guest co-host the week of October 30.

The "Satisfaction" MC will join hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood, replacing comedian Aisha Tyler, who announced her departure in June and made her last appearance during the season seven finale this August.

"I think what I'm looking forward to the most is showcasing my personality and who I am now as a woman", Eve told Deadline.

She added that The Talk is important because it allows a wide range of female viewpoints on current issues.

Eve is best known for hits "What Ya Want", "Gangsta Lovin", and "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" with Gwen Stefani, which won the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2002.

"When I first got the first call in London, my manager told me about the opportunity, and at first I was like, 'I don't know, because it's far from from home, '" she says.

Eve said when she was first approached about the new gig, she thought it was ideal but admitted that she had to think about it. I started recording a few months ago. I am interested in hosting, and specifically on this show, because I feel as though I can express myself in a way people haven't seen me before, and be able to engage in great discussions [and] have some fun.
