Even LeBron James must follow the unwritten rules of public transportation. "Decided to take a different transportation this time", James said, panning around the train to capture his teammates.
The team, who were nearly too big for the subway vehicle, were squishing together for the ride.
The alternative was a 45-minute bus ride, which James said he didn't fancy in a video posted on the his digital company's "Uninterrupted" Twitter account.
"Can you not", the fan said before moving his seat. Or, as J.R. Smith put it, "like real citizens".
"KP gon get y'all tonight bruh", the fan says.
November 13, 2017LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers went through a daily rite of passage for New Yorkers-they hopped on the subway.
Another video was shown on the NBA's Instagram showing the team walking the streets of the city back to the hotel following their train ride.
At one point in the video, James turns the camera to the stranger sitting next to him, who, in true NY fashion, throws his hand in front and says, "Can you not?" to the delight of James and his teammates.
As New York attempts to improve to 8-5, however, one of the tallest tasks to date is standing in front of it: A motivated Cleveland Cavaliers team.
