Noctis will be available as part of Tekken 7's Season Pass and will release some time in Spring 2018. However, it's definitely a move that Final Fantasy 15 fans should enjoy, and may even convince some of them to check out the fighting game if they hadn't already.
Tekken 7 came out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in June.
Final Fantasy XV main character Noctis Lucis Caelum will soon join Tekken 7 as a DLC character. The first was Tekken Bowl, the second Geese Howard from the Fatal Fury franchise (Akuma from Street Fighter was a playable character at launch). Cindy and the chocobos also make an appearance, which is a nice touch. In the trailer, you can see him wield all of the royal weapons he has at his disposal in the original game, as well as magic in the form of Fire, Blizzard and Thunder, to boot.
Seeing crossovers in movies, TV shows, anime, comics, and video games are always fun.
The Noctis reveal was also accompanied by some more Tekken 7 news. Though many are hoping that many other characters from other games will be added to Tekken 7, too.
At this point, it's unclear what other crossover characters and stages Bandai Namco is working on and all of its focus may be on getting this Final Fantasy 15 DLC right.
