According to reports, 62-year-old Atkinson, who is famous for his roles in "Blackadder" and "Mr. Bean" (we'll kindly forget about "Johnny English"), is expecting his first child with 33-year-old actress Louise Ford. Pregnant Louise was seen shopping in North London last week.sporting one of bungling Mr Bean's proudest bumps so far.
Atkinson has two children with his ex-wife, 23-year-old son, Ben, and 21-year-old daughter, Lily.
A source told The Sunday People: 'Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can't wait for their new arrival. They met for the first time in late 1980s when Sunetra was working as a makeup artist with the BBC.
Ford, who plays Kate Middleton in the Channel 4 comedy The Windsors, became public with their romance in 2014, after the comedian's 25-year marriage to Sunetra Sastry crumbled. The couple has met in 2012 when they acted together in the West End comedy Quartermaine's Terms. In an interesting development, Lily ditched the name of her father and adopted her mother's maiden name as her surname.
Another added: "Congratulations to Rowan Atkinson and his girlfriend #LouiseFord on their lovely baby news!"
After knowing Atkinson's relationship with Louise, Sunetra filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences in 2015.
Atkinson, who attracted nearly 19 million viewers in his role as Mr Bean at its peak, has amassed a fortune of an estimated £70million.
