The fourth film in the Golmaal franchise may have received mixed reviews from critics but looks like the audience gave it much more love and utilised their Diwali weekend to get their amusing bone tickled with this horror comedy.

The horror-comedy had opened to a staggering Rs 30.14 crore on October 20. His movie PK was the only film to have earned Rs 33 crore but Golmaal Again raced ahead and managed to rake in Rs 35 crore.
Golmaal Again seems to be unstoppable at the box-office. This genre films were becoming popular in south and now it started in Bollywood as well.

Rohit Shetty, the man behind this franchise is obviously thrilled "I am overwhelmed with the response the film has received and want to thank the audience for appreciating it." admits the director as per reports on Mid-day. On the other hand, Shibasish Sarkar, COO, Reliance Entertainment commented, "It is very rare for a film to create such wonders at the box office". With Golmaal Again, the comedy-horror genre has made its entry into Bollywood.
