Rohr: I'll introduce six new players against Algeria

According to him, "it is our desire that the Super Eagles finish their qualification series unbeaten with a win against the Fennecs of Algeria".

"I have studied the Nigerian team, apart from Iwobi, every other player is mostly a substitute for his team in Europe, but that doesn't mean they will not be at the level to face us".

The Franco-German coach said yesterday that he would make six changes to the team that defeated Chipolopolo last month. Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani, and Yacine Brahimi.

"It will be very, very interesting to see our players play for the first time, new players are arriving and to see they are good in our team".

"All the games are important, it's right we have already qualified for the World Cup, so the result is not important, the most important in this game will be to play a good game", Rohr said in an interview posted on the official twitter handle of the Super Eagles.

Stephen, who plays for American Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake of America, told Complete Sports from his base that he was impressed with Nigeria's performance during the World Cup qualifying campaign.

"So, it's already a big preparation for the World Cup".

The team will then on Saturday move to Krasnodar, the Russian city that will host Tuesday's global friendly against Argentina.

On Thursday, the Super Eagles, with the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup ticket already in their pocket, will fly to Constantine, where they face the Fennecs at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui from 8.30pm Algeria time on Friday.
