Heavy rain this evening and strong, possibly damaging wind gusts overnight

Low around 39. Southwest wind 11 to 18 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 29 miles per hour.

Monday Night: Overnight lows are going to drop down into the lower 40's and upper 30's. North-northeast wind 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Tuesday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.

I thought it was interesting to note that the low that will move towards the Northeast tonight, will move inland nearly in the exact same spot as Sandy did 5 years ago. The time change on November 5 will put it back in the 7 o'clock hour. Southwest wind around 10 miles per hour. A gusty west to northwesterly wind will usher in a more seasonable air mass. Highs Today, tomorrow and Wednesday will only be in the 50s.


"Cloudy, cold and a chance of precipitation should be consistent", Andrew Arnold, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in White Lake Township, said Saturday.

Thursday, Nov. 2 - Sunny, with a high near 78.

Monday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 63. Winds both days are expected to be out of the southwest around 5-10 miles per hour. Southwest wind 3 to 8 miles per hour. Skies will begin mostly sunny but build cloud cover through the day and highs will range from the mid-60s to mid-70s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour. Thursday night will be partly cloudy. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69.

Tonight - Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Lows will be around 60.
