Yesterday, Airtel launched a smartphone to counter JioPhone, a low-priced feature phone being launched by Jio which aims to grab a bigger pie of the 50 crore feature phone users market in India. These can be used against future recharges - one at a time - after November 15. Reliance Jio is even encouraging this, telling people to recharge now and use later. So, recharge as early as possible to get these benefits.
It's a little tricky, but the new Reliance Jio Rs 399 Diwali edition Dhan Dhana Dhan is totally worth it. While, for offline recharge they can head on to Jio's partnered offline retail stores and online platforms like - JioMoney, Paytm, Amazon Pay, and MobiKwik.
The Airtel user will also have to either recharge with a Rs 169 plan or the total amount of recharges in the first 18 months should sum up to Rs 3,000 to get a refund of Rs 500. Additionally, one can use a cashback voucher one at a time and not all at ones. Customers who now recharge with Rs 149 plan will get 2GB 4G internet, unlimited voice calls, 300 SMS and Jio apps subscription for 28 days. While announcing the new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Jio also mentions that it may announce the new set of tariff plans for its users on Oct 19. And it offers 1 GB 4G data per day with this plan. The new plan will only go into effect once the current one is at an end.
The offer will be available for those customers also whose validity still remains.
Another important point to note is that Reliance Jio is planning to revise its tariffs soon.
