Rapper Young Dolph is expected to survive critical injuries sustained in an L.A. shooting last night, said a police spokesman. Allegedly, Gotti and Dolph were staying at the same hotel in Hollywood when their friends got into a physical altercation.

TMZ reports that Yo Gotti is also a "person of interest" in the case.

Dolph was shot multiple times after getting into an argument with three men outside of the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Tuesday (Sept. 26), according to police. The Memphis-based rapper was outside of the Shoe Palace, which is located at a well-known Hollywood and Highland intersection, when he was shot multiple times. "But Dolph turned him down, and ever since the two have thrown shots at each other", according to XXL Magazine.

Police have made an arrest in connection to a Tuesday shooting that left rapper Young Dolph injured. Thanks to his armored vehicles, which reportedly cost him roughly $600,000, Young Dolph was unharmed in that incident.

Back in February, Young Dolph's armored SUV was hit with more than 100 gunshots in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The rapper was born in Chicago, his family moved to Memphis, Tenn. when he was two years old.

Yo Gotti and Young Dolph have always been involved in a rap feud, according to the Commercial Appeal, and have traded diss lyrics in their songs in the past.
