Kochi: Mollywood actress Kavya Madhavan, who was earlier questioned by the Kerala police in connection with the February 17 actress abduction case, is likely to approach the court for an anticipatory bail plea. In her plea filed through her husband's lawyer Raman Pillai, Kavya has alleged that she is concerned that police may have been trying to "implicate" her in the case. According to Sunil Kumar's version he had acquaintance with the celebrity couple Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. There was no justification for implication and arrest of the petitioner in this case other than to satisfy a powerful group behind the pre-planned drama, the plea said. Besides, she had also raised allegations against ADGP B Sandhya, director Shrikumar Menon and actress and former wife of Dileep, Manju Warrier. Reports had earlier linked Suni with Kavya, stating that he had worked as her vehicle driver.

Kavya Madhavan has moved for bail days after prime accused in the case Pulsar Suni claimed that she was the "madam" he was referring to. However, a conspiracy angle cropped up much later that led to Dileep's arrest.

Kochi: The Judicial First Class Magistrate court at Angamaly on Saturday extended actor Dileep's custody till September 28. Suni, in his statements to the media, has said that Kavya gave him money to carry out Dileep's dirty works but was not aware of what the money was meant for. After hearing, the court set aside the case for final judgment on Monday (September 18). The police is believed to be at the last stages of the investigation.
