In a shocking turn of events television actors Gagan Kang and Arjit Lavani were killed in a road accident on Saturday. These two actors were famous for their roles in mythological television series "Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai".
Refuting speculation that TV actor Gagandeep Kang, who died in a mishap on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway that also killed two others, was drunk at the wheel, police said he may have been exhausted after a night long shoot. They were returning from their shoot in Gujarat's Umbergaon to Mumbai and this incident happened.

The producer of the show, Siddharth Kumar Tewary, condoled the deaths of the two actors. Gagan and Arjit starred in Mahakali as Indra Dev and Nandi respectively. An autopsy report is awaited, he added.

"We found the cellphones of the deceased and managed to establish the contact with the family members to inform them about the accident and they are on their way to collect the bodies of the deceased", said the officer.
As per sources, both the actors were travelling towards Mumbai after shooting in Umergoan when their vehicle met with an accident. The mishap took place at 11:30 am today.
