That complaint from 24 consumers is what has caused MixBin Electronics to recall 263,000 liquid glitter iPhone cases.

Almost 275,000 iPhone cases that contain glitter suspended in liquid are being recalled after reports of leakage that caused burns and skin irritation.

They were sold at: Amazon, Victoria's Secret, Nordstrom Rack, Hentri Bendel, MixBin and Tory Burch stores.

One of the people who reported injury said they received permanent scarring while another reported chemical burns and swelling to her leg, face, neck, chest, upper body and hands.

There have been about 263,000 of these cases sold in the U.S. as well as 11,400 in Canada and 400 in Mexico. If you come into contact with the liquid glitter, immediately wash affected areas with warm soapy water and seek medical attention if irritation continues.

A US Consumer Product Safety Commission report noted that there have been 24 reports around the world, including 19 in the USA, of skin irritation or chemical burns.

If you have one of the cases, you should take it off your phone right away, and contact MixBin for a refund.
