'F**king paranoid schizophrenic': Scaramucci blasts Priebus & Bannon in rant

As if things couldn't get any more freaky for those within the Trump Administration, today the newly appointed Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci took part in an interview with The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza.

Scaramucci seemed to presume the information, which Lizza tweeted about, came from Priebus.

"I've told people that if there's a civil war, and people are fighting internally, we have to dial that down", he added.

"I plan on continuing to serve and report directly to President @realDonaldTrump at the @WhiteHouse, as I've done since 1/20/2017", Scavino tweeted over the weekend.

House Majority Leader Paul Ryan threw his support behind his "close friend" Preibus during his weekly briefing, saying: "I think he's doing a great job as chief of staff".

CNN journalists were rehashing Wednesday's tweets at the top of the 7 a.m. hour on Thursday, joined by Lizza, when Scaramucci called in to the show. "I think he got down here from NY".

"Now, if you want to talk about the chief of staff, we have had odds, we have had differences", he said. When Lizza said he could not tell Scaramucci, the communications director responded, "What I'm going to do is, I will eliminate everyone in the comms team and we'll start over".

"Some brothers are like Cain and Abel, other brothers can fight with each other and get along, I don't know if this is repairable or not", Scaramucci said. I'll get to the person who leaked that to you.

Lizza published the quotes from the interview after a whirlwind day that kicked off with Scaramucci venting on Twitter about a Politico story that revealed his financial disclosure form.

Update: The White House communications director says he will "refrain" from using "colorful language" going forward.

According to Lizza, Scaramucci also reportedly mock-voiced Preibus and said, "Oh, Bill Shine is coming in".

When asked why the dinner was a secret, Scaramucci replied: "I've asked people not to leak things for a period of time and give me a honeymoon period". It reported that Scaramucci still stands to profit from his stake in SkyBridge Capital as he takes his new post.

His attacks on the President's senior adviser Steve Bannon risk alienating those who flocked to the Trump cause from outside mainstream politics.

"Wrong! Tweet was public notice to leakers that all Sr Adm officials are helping to end illegal leaks.@Reince45", he tweeted in response to an Axios article's headline that read, "Scaramucci appears to want Priebus investigated by FBI". Trump White House 1.0 has been destined to fail; will Trump White House 2.0 be a completely new design run by a strong chief, or simply a repackaging of the original staff system with a weak chief of staff of a different name?
