While Google Maps already told users about the best possible path to reach as soon as possible to their destination, the search giant has now added a new feature that tells users the best time of the day to travel. After all, we can't all afford the new Audi A8 that drives for you when in a jam.
In many areas the dependence on Google map is unparalleled, with satellite views, parking spots and live traffic updates. It recently introduced a nifty feature that tells users about the speed limits for vehicles in specific areas, but it is only available in two locations for now - San Francisco Bay Area in the USA and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It not only navigates you how to get somewhere but also when its the best time to make a journey. This appears to be one of the rare instances where a new feature was quietly rolled out to all users in the space of a few weeks. It pops up when you input directions.
Google Maps is capable of some seriously impressive things, and that's highlighted by its ability to show you how busy a business is at any given time.
The color of the bar will appear, green, yellow and red according to traffic flow.
Google has not disclosed that when this mapping feature will be launched on iOS. Apart from this drawback, it is a positive step to plan journey efficiently.
