"Blade Runner" fans get more plot in the second trailer for the upcoming sequel, and Ryan Gosling fans get much more of the handsome actor, even if his face is covered in blood, bruises or bandages for most of it.
As promised, Warner Bros has dropped the new trailer for Blade Runner 2049 online after it debuted on ABC's Good Morning America today and the long-awaited sci-fi sequel looks set to be a dark and thrilling one.
What did you think about the newest trailer for Blade Runner 2049? Ryan Gosling's Officer K of the LAPD has gone searching for Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who says that he and his fellow Blade Runners were being hunted.
There is also the unsettling implication that the Replicants represent the future of humanity, and someone clearly wants K and Deckard dead for getting too close to a truth that could "break the world". Still, given just how much people adore the original film, the filmmaker has already made his peace with potentially failing.
Blade Runner 2049 premieres October 6, 2017. "K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years".
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the movie will feature Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto alongside Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) and Harrison Ford (Star Wars).
