Sergio Aguero Transfer Reportedly Interests Chelsea After Missing Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea are searching far and wide for a new striker after Antonio Conte dumped Diego Costa by text.

Chelsea are desperate for a new striker, having failed with a protracted move for Romelu Lukaku; it also seems that Alvaro Morata will move to AC Milan rather than Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea reportedly have a "serious and strong interest" in signing Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero from Premier League rivals Manchester City.

The prolific forward scored 30 goals in all competitions last season despite his playing time restrictions from January onwards, and so the 29-year-old evidently has more than enough to make City regret such a decision. It is hard to believe that Manchester City would sell to a direct title rival, especially after Chelsea won the Premier League last term. I've read a lot of the speculation on this and it's ridiculous.

"Sergio Aguero is one of the best players in the world".

Despite Al Mubarak's confidence, Aguero did occasionally find himself on the fringes of Guardiola's plans last season, with Gabriel Jesus' incredible form and City's pursuit of Alexis Sanchez throwing his future into doubt.

Italy global Andrea Belotti has also been linked with Chelsea, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be available for a whopping £70m.
