Seems like a report of Meizu Pro 7 launching on July 26 turning out true. The word "window" in the post probably refers to the secondary screen that is present at the rear panel of the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. We need to wait few more days to get all the details of this handset.
Meizu senior vice president Jeffery Yang, on the other hand, is teasing the imminent arrival of the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus on his Weibo, even sharing images taken with the devices. Now, that's how you grab attention.
As per rumours, Meizu Pro 7 will be featuring 5.2 QHD (2560 x 1440) display.
The Plus version is going to boast a bigger 5.7-inch screen with Quad HD resolution and will allegedly come with three RAM variants at 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB. We can see the display being used for notifications, and dates and quick glance stuff like that.
"The Meizu Pro 7 is powered by MediaTek's new Helio X30 SoC but that isn't what makes it stand out; the flagship features a new technology-a 2" secondary display at the back. The rear sensors are expected to be two 12MP cameras from Sony which will be IMX386 and IMX286 sensors respectively.
The Meizu Pro 7 is said to come with a starting price of 2,799 Yuan, which is around $413 while Plus variant has an entry-level price tag of 3,299 Yuan or $486.
Meizu will unveil its next flagship, the Pro 7, on July 26.
We expect Meizu to bring in a high-end device in next coming weeks. Rumor has it that Meizu has made a decision to strike a deal with Samsung so that the Pro 7 will be equipped with an Exynos 8895 processor, but the information hasn't been confirmed.
