Cilic won and will go on to the finals.

With Kate Middleton gracing Wimbledon's men's singles opening match and the finals-along with her husband, Prince William-the world is abuzz with admiration for her refreshing public appearances.

In a new documentary about the United Kingdom tennis tournament, Kate described watching Wimbledon from courtside as "amazing".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were among those ready to greet Roger Federer as he won a historic eighth Wimbledon title and both offered their most honest congratulations for his success.

Classy and chic is always a good style to sport during the annual tennis tournament, and the Duchess of Cambridge did just that with great panache. In Poland, she also opted for an Alexander McQueen look - this time it was a white peplum dress that featured a lower neckline, similar to the one on the Marchesa dress she wore for last week's state dinner.

The 35 year old completed the outfit with a white Victoria Beckham handbag, which she carried gracefully to her royal seat.

Prior to that, Pippa rocked a sheer pink lace dress for a day of tennis spectating on July 4, reminiscent of the sheer white lace Dolce & Gabbana number that the mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte donned at the Royal Ascot races on June 19.

British hopefuls Andy Murray and Johanna Konta were ousted from Wimbledon this week, but British icon Pippa Middleton was back for her third round Friday.
