Joe Hart: Man City keeper passes West Ham medical before loan move

The England number one has become surplus to requirements and is on the lookout for a new club, with a move to The London Stadium now nearly sealed.

Joe Hart is now set for a loan move to West Ham, which could potentially become a permanent deal in the future.

Hart has been effectively frozen out at the Etihad since the arrival of Pep Guardiola at the start of last season and spent the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Torino.

But as news breaks on Sunday that the keeper's move to the London Stadium is imminent, many may be asking if Hart is any better than current West Ham stopper Adrian.

West Ham are now at a pre-season training camp in Austria as preparations build for the new season, which for them starts on 13 August against Manchester United at Old Trafford, and skipper Mark Noble believes Hart has been mistreated in recent years.

He returned to pre-season training at City but there is no hope of kick-starting his career there.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart seems to be on his way to West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Spaniard Adrian and Republic of Ireland global Darren Randolph have been the first team keepers at the London club.
