Following earlier rumours, Activision has finally confirmed a standalone release for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, after initially exclusively bundling the re-release with the Legacy Edition of last year's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
The DLC for Infinite Warfare has been pretty good thus far, between the two entertaining Zombies maps that have been introduced, along with the new multiplayer maps that have been keeping players on their toes.
Call of Duty fans will want to spend their summer days drifting away to the nearest console or PC to make sure they don't miss out on any of this exciting Days of Summer event action. This includes the Warfighter Rig as Omar, the Merc as Reyes, Synaptic as ETH.3N, FTL as Salter, Stryker as Price, and Phantom as Ghost.
For Infinite Warfare players, you'll be able to duke it out on the Turista map (from the Continuum DLC pack), regardless of whether or not you have purchased it. Activision is also including a handful of new characters, plucked straight from older titles.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. There's also new content introduced with the company's recent Days of Summer event, which will take place over the next five weeks and is introducing new content in its own right, along with double XP opportunities and more.
Playable Beach Bog Map - a daytime, beachside re-imaging of the original Bog map.
The game will also provide a free summer-themed supply drop to players who log into the shooter each week.
The other big addition is the return of the Prop Hunt game mode to Modern Warfare Remastered. This new Prop Hunt adds a bunch of beach-themed props like sand castles and beach balls.
These Black Ops 3 perks go live on July 11 and end on August 1.
Additionally, new limited-time weapon camos and other summer-themed items will be added to the loot pool.
